Patrick Lynn Greer's Obituary
Patrick Lynn Greer, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma. Born on March 27, 1953, in Smithville, Missouri, to Billie Gist and Mary Louis (Rule) Greer, Patrick lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love.
Patrick served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, demonstrating a commitment to duty and country that would characterize his entire life. Following his military service, Patrick found his calling as a Toolman for the Word Industry, where his skill and work ethic earned the respect and admiration of all who knew him.
He is survived by his brothers, Greg Greer and his wife Candace, Ira Greer, and Jonathan Millis. His memory will also be cherished by his niece Carmen Stacey and her husband Heath, as well as his great-nephews, Blue Stacey and Titus Stacey. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Greer, and his brother, Dennis Greer.
Patrick's legacy of service and family will be honored at a graveside service on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. His life and contributions will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Patrick's steadfastness, sense of duty, and love for his family will be dearly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
