Patrick Robert Kenny, 63 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Tulsa with his loving family by his side. He was born January 11, 1956 in Orange, New Jersey to his parents, Walter B. and Anne Kenny. Patrick married the love of his life, “Angel Face” a.k.a. Doris “Elaine” Swindell Kenny on July 11, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 38 beautiful years together.Patrick was a hard working iron worker/welder for over 20 years, who supported his family to his fullest extent. He loved God and would always make sure his children were told the true meaning of Christmas, year after year; Christmas is all about Jesus. He was a funny soul, he always loved watching Abbot and Costello and The Three Stooges amongst many others- anything for a laugh. He was an avid OU fan; always supporting the team-win or loose. Though he was a quiet person, deep down he was full of life, love and laughter. He was truly Nana’s “Teddy Bear”. He loved his grand-babies Elijah and Ethan dearly, to his fullest of heart. His legacy will live on as being the best Husband, Dad and Papa anyone could ever ask for.Patrick is survived by his wife, Elaine Kenny of the home; one son, Josh Kenny of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Rachel Moon and husband, Stephen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandsons, Elijah Wynter Moon and Ethan Wyatt Moon of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Mark Kenny and wife Debbie of Dunlap, Tennessee and Joseph Kenny and wife Marcie of North Plainfield, New Jersey; four sisters, Joan Berkstresser of Summerset, New Jersey, Mary Kenny of Durham, North Carolina, Teresa Kenny of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania and Anne Kenny Simpson and husband Jim of Bloomfield, New Jersey; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Anne Kenny and one sister, Nancy Stregowski.A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
