Hart Himes, Patsy Orene's Obituary
Patsy Hart-Himes passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on November 1, 1931, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Luther and Thelma Silver. Patsy's life was marked by deep love, creativity, and a spirit of adventure. She married James W. Hart on February 10, 1950, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter & square dancing.
Tragically, James passed away before her, but Patsy found love again when she married Benny Himes on
December 16, 1998, in Naples, Florida. A woman of grace, Patsy was an accomplished artist & beautician with a strong bond to her family. She shared a particularly special connection with her sister and w a s known for her classy demeanor and vibrant spirit. Patsy enjoyed many passions throughout her life, from
twirling a baton in her younger years to traveling the world with Benny. Together, they shared a love for cruising, and Patsy fondly cherished their trips to Hawaii & their home in Florida.
Patsy's fond memories of her parents, who owned an ice cream shop where double dips was only a nickel, remained dear to her throughout her life. That must be why she loved her Braums chocolate malts with extra chocolate. Her love for the ocean, fishing, and the beauty of nature also stayed with her. She truly embraced life with an open heart and a sense of wonder. She spent the last few years of her life at Grandwood assisted living on Grand Lake where she had met so many wonderful people & made wonderful memories with her granddaughter.
