Patsy Johnson's Obituary
Pasty Ann Johnson, daughter of Jess and Clara Ray Stevens, was born July 4, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She passed away on January 5, 2019 at the age of 83 years and 6 months.After graduation from Stilwell High School, Pat moved to Tulsa and attended Draughn School of Business. She met Bill Johnson and was married on September 18, 1954 on Monkey Island at Grand Lake. They settled in Tulsa where Pat worked at a loan company until their son, Michael Steve, was born in 1960. When Michael got older, she enjoyed working at Sears. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. She was active in the PTA and could always be found at Michael’s baseball games cheering on the team. She never missed her nieces’ swim shows or her great nieces’ dance recitals. Patsy was also an avid reader, but her love of family was first in her life. She was a member of Crowell Heights Baptist Church.Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; sisters, Mary Robbins and Marjorie Worsham; and brothers, Jess Stevens and Bob Stevens.She is survived by a loving family that includes her son, Michael; sisters, Katy Littlejohn and Jan Friend; brother, Bill Stevens; and a host of nieces and nephews.The family wishes to thank her caregivers at Canoe Brook Assisted Living and Memory Care.A service will be held in her honor at Floral Haven Rose Chapel on Thursday, January 10 at 11 am.
