Patty Duncan's Obituary
On June 10th, 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona, Patricia “Patty” Duncan was freed from the suffering of dementia and embraced eternal peace. Greeting Patty in eternity was her husband of 36 years, Jim Duncan, and her parents, Claude and Lucille.
Patty was born September 20th, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from McLain High School in 1966. Patty worked for Southwestern Bell, where she met her husband Jim. They were married in Miami, Oklahoma on April 29th, 1977. Patty retired from Southwestern Bell in 1992 and went on to enjoy years of travel with Jim in their many RVs, travel trailers, Broncos, and boats. She enjoyed water skiing and snow skiing. She loved watching hot air balloons and spoke often of a trip they took to Albuquerque, New Mexico to attend the balloon fiesta. Patty was a caretaker for her husband Jim until his death, on July 8th, 2013. Patty bravely faced and proudly survived breast and skin cancer.
Patty will be lovingly remembered by her brother Ron and his wife Jeannie. Her nephew Brett, his wife Stacey, and their children, Ryan and Daniel. Her sister, Elaine Lancaster. Her niece Angie, her husband Matt, and their children, Abby, Kyia & Dakota. Her niece Mary Ann, her husband David, and their children, Shelby and Macy. Along with extended family, friends, and her end-of-life caretakers.
