Patty Hettinger's Obituary
Patty Hettinger passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 6, 2010. Patty was born on December 25th, 1931 to Reba and Fred Heard in Dyer, Arkansas. Patty lived the majority of her life in Tulsa. She was a graduate of Will Rogers HS. Patty was a passionate duplicate bridge player for many years and accomplished the level of 'Life Master'. While her health didn't allow her to play in her later years, she cherished her many long-term bridge friends. It was in the bridge world that Patty met the love of her life, Frank Hettinger. Frank and Patty enjoyed 23 happy years together. They were wonderful parents to their blended family. Patty is survived by her constant companion Sofie. She is also survived by her two children and three stepdaughters, Tom Presley and wife, Patty, Cheri Ward, and husband Scott, Elisheva, and Rabbi Flink, Cathy Hettinger and Maggie Linton. She had 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation hours for family and friends will be 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and Funeral Services 10 a.m. Wednesday both at Floral Haven Funeral Home, private interment to follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
