Patty "Pat" Moody, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 88, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born on August 21, 1936, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Clyde and Dora Hahn.
Pat met her late husband, James Moody when she was just 15 years old on a hayride. They were married 5 years later on August 25, 1956. They were blessed with 58 years of marriage.
Pat was a woman of adventure, joy, and heart. She had a love for life that extended to everything she did. Known for her good sense of humor and as the neighborhood jokester, Pat’s wit and playful spirit brought joy to everyone around her. She was a dedicated member of the TOPS Club, encouraging those around her to live their healthiest lives. Being raised on a farm and accustomed to outdoor chores, she cultivated a green thumb, nurturing her yard and flower beds with care, ensuring they flourished as beautifully as the love she shared with others.
Pat was a cherished member of the Prairie House community, where she proudly served as the "Resident Welcome Queen", making everyone feel like they belonged. She was also an active participant in the Red Hat Society and loved being surrounded by the laughter and friendships that came with it.
