Patty "Pat" S. Reid's Obituary
Reid, Pat 75; of Broken Arrow passed away on April 27, 2013 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on August 22, 1937 in Bristow, OK. to Randolph Wood and Emma Hickman she was the second of 6 children and attended school in Henryetta. Pat showed her amazing love to countless students through her position as a cook for the Broken Arrow School system. Pat could never go anywhere without someone that knew her from school coming up to share a memory. She married Johnnie Reid on March 7, 1956 and he preceded her in death. She was a member of Shahan Baptist Church for many years. Her legacy of nurturing, Love, and honesty will live on in her family forever and we will miss her cooking, crochet and gambling trips. She is survived by her four children Jerry Reid, Beth Hopper, Shery Isbell and Kevin Reid; also eight grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; one brother Harold Wood and her sister Helen Sandlin. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 in the Floral Haven Chapel at 12:30 PM.
