Rev. Bruce Begley
I will miss our conversations and times we were able to visit each other. it is hard to believe I met you 31 years ago when I went to work at OK Natural Gas. Times go by. You were a good man, Mr. Clark. Caring and very engaged with people. I enjoyed the number of years your son would pack you up in the car and bring you over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Those were some of the best times of my life. You got along so well with my mother and you both loved to talk so much. I always knew when you were done talking on the phone because you would always say “Well, ok, You have a good day now”, or “Ok, Bye Bye”. Never giving me time to say “You have a good day too, bye”. The only noise I heard after you said good day or bye-bye was the sound of a phone hanging up. I have known you for 3 decades, but you left me with so much more. You left me with a great dear wonderful friendship with your son Paul. A friend that would be irreplaceable. Thank you. You are in a wonderful paradise. With our Lord Jesus Christ. Reunited with Wilma and the rest of your family. I shall see you one day my friend when the Lord decides to call me home. Until then, I will just simply say Goodbye, till I see you then.
