So sorry for your loss.
What a great man. He was there when I was born! Dad would call him “Graff”. What a calm natured man who had the best sense of humor. Spring would roll around and time for them to prep the gardens that flanked the lot on both sides for summer tomatoes, pickles, dill, etc. What big beautiful gardens they would grow! Canning pickles was the goal. The cookouts were fun when growing up, golf tournaments seemed to always be on the tv in the background. As a little girl I would ride along with dad on the golf cart while they played a round of golf at the club. The Graff’s would let me drive our golf cart in the lot, round and around I would go making a path in their lot learning how to drive! What patient, nice people! Neighbors were like family back then but not just any neighbors, the Graff’s. What special people and a special family who always treated me like one of their own. He will surely be missed. I hope he and Dad are catching up. Love to you all, Megan Locke McCall
