Dearest Mary and Family: I am deeply sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I remember when I had to become a care provider for my mother, without realizing it, I was so busy all day long caring for one need or another….then, she passed away, and suddenly I had all this time on my hands. I stopped and asked myself, what would I normally be doing now….That was when it hit me, my mother had died….. You too may be discovering exactly how much of your day was spent caring for your grandfather, and may now be feeling the emptiness of the loss….. But don’t despair, there is hope. Jesus, when on earth raised many people from the dead. (Luke 7:11-15; Luke 8:49-56; John 11:38-44). And He has promised to do it again in the near future. (John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15). And this time, our loved ones won’t be sick. (Isaiah 33:24).
