Paul L. Juen's Obituary
Juen, Paul Lawrence, 87, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012. He was born January 20, 1925 and was one of ten children born to Henry T. Juen and Mary M. Bauer of Belleville, Illinois. Paul was a loving and dedicated husband and father who lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his wife, Wanda, of 64 years, and a sister in El Paso, Texas. His children are Dr. Chris Juen, Nancy (Smith), Ruth (Chiconas), Jesse Juen and Trish (Spoerl). He has 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was an avid supporter of his grandchildren's sporting events and activities, and cherished gardening, baking, grilling, playing cards, wood crafting and working puzzles with his family. Paul attended Cathedral and Ysleta High School of El Paso, TX. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Merchant Marines. He was a well-respected builder and real estate developer in El Paso earning the title 'Builder of the Year.' He was also the first developer in the Eastwood Heights section of El Paso and an active member of the Knights of Columbus. The Holy Rosary will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 7:00 pm at the Church of St. Mary. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at 11:00 am at The Church of St. Mary. Interment will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Therapeutics Service Dogs of Oklahoma, 9433 East 51st Street, Suite J, Tulsa, OK, 74145.
