Paul Kent Pollard's Obituary
Pollard, Paul Kent, 64 of Coweta, OK., passed away on October 7, 2013. Paul was born on August 16, 1949 in Tulsa, OK to Elbert and Cora Lea (Fox) Pollard. He graduated from Union High School in Tulsa and after graduation he accepted the call to serve in the United States Air Force in Vietnam, he then went on to continue his education at Northeastern State University earning his masters degree. Paul used his education to touch countless lives of special needs students. Beyond the classroom he became a Special Olympics coach. Paul loved music and never missed an opportunity to attend a concert. He was an OU fan and loved to travel with his family and friends. Paul’s greatest love was his family who carries on his legacy of love, laughter and service. He is survived by his wife of almost 20 years, Pamela K. Pollard of the home and two daughters; Teri Stevens, Jana Krebs and husband Nathan; six grandchildren; Tanner, Tori, Tayler, Starr, Isabella and Samantha; also survived by two brothers Terry Pollard, Tracy Pollard and wife Tamy; Parents Elbert and Cora Pollard and mother in-law Barbara Barnes and a host of other family and friends. The song of Paul’s life will continue in the hearts of his family and friends until we meet again. A celebration of his life will be held on October 10, 2013 at 12:30 P.M. in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
