Paul is one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. As our next door neighbor for more than 20 years, he has mowed (and edged) my yard when I was sick or down. He has always said kind words to me, my wife, children, parents, and friends, even when we were overflowing onto his parking and yard with guests. Our children, at times, rode to and attended school together. We shoveled snow, battled weeds and leaves together. He lent a helping hand whenever he could by hauling, lifting, and moving things for us when we could not. We shared a love of nature and it's bounties. Whenever he harvested from his garden, he would bring us fresh vegetables. We shared stories of our careers, families, and times outdoors. Our family pets were welcome in his yard and his in ours. He snuck treats to our yapping Manchester Terrier whether she deserved them or not and would let his dogs visit to lift our spirits. As someone we consider as a family member, I and the rest of the family will miss him deeply!
