Pauline Gibbs' Obituary
Pauline Warren Gibbs, age 91, passed away on July 24, 2014 in Marietta, Georgia. Pauline was born on January 16, 1923 in Lupa, Kansas to her parents Ford and Lottie Pearl. She was the 5th out of 17 children. She began working at Sears eventually becoming the manager. She retired in 1981 after serving 30 years of loyal work. Pauline married Charles L. Gibbs in 1947 and they began living in Oklahoma. Pauline cherished all of her family but held a special place in her heart for son Frank. She was a prankster; she loved pulling jokes and tricks on several members of her family but they knew it was in good fun. She truly loved them and they loved her. Pauline is survived by her daughter-in-law Karen Gibbs, her four grandsons Jason Gibbs, Greg Gibbs, Mark McLean, and Christopher Gravley, her five granddaughter Kristy Gibbs, Amanda Fender, Stacy McLean, Heather Gravley, and Maryanne Gravley, her seven great grandsons Landon Gibbs, Preston Gibbs, Luke Gibbs, Chad Fender, Blaine McLean, Gavin McLean, and Peyton McLean, two great granddaughter Maddison Fender and Mary McLean, and eight siblings Calvin, Noble, Tom, Marie, Polly, Georgie, and Walter.
