Pearl Darlene LeBlanc's Obituary
Pearl Darlene LeBlanc, age 78, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, entered her eternal rest with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday the 29th of August 2023.
Darlene was born on December 17, 1944 to Harry James and Melba Rea Ferlin, in Tulsa, OK. She grew up in Tulsa, OK with three sisters and one brother. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
After Darlene graduated from Nathan Hale High School, she began working at State Farm Insurance, with her sister and brother in-law, Melba and Charles Lile, followed by a life long career at Ford. She worked in Labor Relations at Ford Glass in Tulsa, OK and, later, Ford Motor Credit in Pittsburgh, PA.
Darlene lovingly raised two children, Angela and Lloyd, from a previous marriage. On March 19, 1983, she married the love of her life, Stephen Joseph LeBlanc. They were married for over 40 years and happily resided in Broken Arrow, OK until 1996, when they relocated to Cranberry Township, PA. They moved back to Broken Arrow in 2013. They enjoyed spending time with family and traveling up and down the east coast.
In 1999, Darlene retired from Ford Motor Company, and spent her time as a wedding coordinator at church, hosted small group gatherings at her house and was actively involved at The Assmbly in Broken Arrow, OK and with various charitable organizations, including the local area Broken Arrow Food Pantry.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Melba Rea Ferlin and her sisters, Melba Lou Lile, Mary Case and Rose Miller.
She is survived by her husband, Stephen LeBlanc, her brother Paul Ferlin, her daughter, Angela Rankin, her son, Lloyd Whitehead and four grandchildren, Chas Tackett, Tyler Whitehead, Alexandra Tackett and Chloe Tackett.
Viewing will be held at Floral Haven on Sunday, September 3rd from 2pm until 4pm. Services will be held at Floral Haven on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 10:00am.
