Peggy Jo Bullington's Obituary
Peggy Jo Bullington, 89 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at her home with family by her side. She was born on May the 8th of 1932 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to her parents, Virgil Howard Petty and Beatrice (Cox) Petty. On December 23, 1950 she took the hand of Baxter Lee Bullington and together they shared over 60 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2011.
Peggy is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Crutcher and husband Billy of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, JoElla Steele and husband Gerald of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Melinda Hawkins of Ramona, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Jeremy, Jason, and Josh Durham, Brandon and Dustin Steele, Tarah (Hawkins) Gailey, Jolene (Hawkins) Powell, and Jessica (Crutcher) Bell; seventeen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many friends and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Baxter Bullington; two siblings, Phyllis Stith and George Petty; and her son-in-law, Jeff Hawkins.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Pastor Tracy Ivy and Mr. Gerald Steele officiating. Burial will be private at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Memorial Drive United Methodist Church or to a charity of one's choice.
