Peggy Marie Hart's Obituary
Peggy Marie Hart peacefully left this world with February 2, 2019. She is survived by her son, Kenny; daughter, Kelly; and granddaughters Catherine, Marissa and Tara. She was a homemaker, nursing home administrator, and teacher’s aide. Some of her hobbies included macramé, ceramics and making Christmas stockings. She was also active in PTA and Brownies. Her love of all things Elvis was only matched by the love for our Dad. She knew every word to every song he sang. One of the highlights of her life was when she visited her nirvana, Graceland. Elvis was about the only thing played in our house, except when she allowed Dad to listen to Johnny Cash or Jerry Reed, which was a rare occurrence. As a matter of fact, neither of us even knew of any other singers until we had FM radio. My sister and I grew up with Elvis, but I don’t think it really meant anything to either of us. However, after playing Elvis for her the last 24 hours of her life, it has taken on a completely different meaning for me.Mom, the battle with Alzheimer’s is finally over. You can now be with Dad again. He waited six long years for you to join him. You two will finally be together for eternity. We will miss you and always love you.No Services are planned at this time.
