Peggy "Jane" Stephenson's Obituary
Peggy “Jane” Stephenson was born November 9, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and passed away April 7, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jane was married to the love of her life James Stephenson for 53 years. The couple enjoyed spending time doing Pyrography (The art of wood burning). Together they traveled to different parts of the United States to different Pyrography shows. The couple had an RV and enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends. Jane also enjoyed spending time painting and doing ceramics, and square dancing. In more recent years Jane simply enjoyed staying home with James and watching her favorite TV shows and relaxing. Jane is survived by her spouse James Stephenson; daughter Vickie D. Golubski and her husband Martin; son Mike Stephenson and his wife M. Denise Graham-Stephenson; grandchildren Alexis Nicole Graham-Stephenson, Melinda Creed and Trista Sotomayor and numerous other family members and friend. Those who knew and loved Jane will miss her dearly. A celebration of life memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, April 10, 2015, at the New Life Baptist Church, 851 W Norman Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
