Penalope Kay Harper's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Penalope Harper on August 16, 2024. Born on November 1, 1962, in McAlester, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Bert Dungan and Shirley Nobles.
Penalope was a woman of many passions. She found joy intending to her garden and cherished the peaceful moments spent fishing with her husband, Mike. A devoted family member, she friendly competition while playing video games with her sons. Her love for genealogy showcased her deep appreciation for family history, and she often delighted in the charm of classic black-and-white movies.
An introvert at heart, Penalope was a sweet and kind soul who valued her privacy. Above all, she longed to reunite with her husband, Mike, and to continue nurturing the bonds of love with her cherished family.
Penalope leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. In her memory, let us celebrate the beauty of family, the joy of shared experiences, and the love that knows no bounds.
Penalope is preceded in death by her husband Michael Harper, son Elijah James, brother Robert Dungan.
Penalope is survived by her sister Shirley Keef, sister Vickie Dunn and husband Larry, brother Bert Jr and wife Sondra, brother Richard Dungan, sister Dorothy McCarthy and husband Gary, grandchildren Josh, Chris, Garrett, Gauge, great-grandchildren Rowland, Erik, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones
Graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Garden of Serenity
