Perry Lane Fisher's Obituary
Perry Lane Fisher, 60, a resident of Broken Arrow, OK, passed away on January 12, 2023. Perry was born on April 16, 1962, in Aledo, IL, to Bob and Betty Fisher. He graduated from United Township High School in 1981 as a two-sport athlete. Perry married and is survived by his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Rhonda Fisher, and they were together for 46 years.
Perry moved to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in 1982, where he and Rhonda raised their two boys, Patrick (Cassidy) and Tyler (Leah), who were his greatest pride. Perry worked for Ralph Goodson Concrete Construction for 12 years before he applied his strong work ethic to running his successful business, Perry Fisher Concrete, for 23 years.
You would know If you were part of Perry’s inner circle by his endless ability to bestow the perfect nickname, including convincing his grandkids to call his beloved “Clammy Grammie.” Perry’s most honorable nickname was Papa, bestowed on him by his four grandchildren, Landon, Presley, Fox, and AJ, who brought him never-ending joy.
Along with providing for his family, Perry was the first to lend a helping hand to someone in need. When he wasn’t using his generosity and kindness toward his neighbors, Perry could be found outdoors in his spare time, enjoying hunting and fishing. Perry also enjoyed playing practical jokes on the people he loved and spending numerous hours with his many furry family members; chocolate labs and schnauzers.
Perry was preceded in passing by his father, Bob Fisher. He is survived by his mother, Betty Fisher; brother, Scott (Melinda) Fisher, his sister, Denise Fisher (David Gebhardt); and his wife, children, and grandchildren.
