The Shoemakers remember being together with the Gozas at all of the baseball games our boys played in together. Phil knew his baseball and of course was so supportive of Nick and all the boys on the team. They were fun times that we will not forget.
I have worked with a lot of store managers in my grocery career and Phil was one of the best I have had. I will miss his understanding and help with putting together the summer merchandise. Phil will always be the best friend and boss! I thank God for sending him to us in Henryetta!

Prayers of comfort to Karen and Nick at this difficult time. Phil was an amazing man and loved his work and cared for the people he employed. But more than that he adored his wife and so very proud of his son Nick and the accomplishments he made in baseball. He would always talk about Nick when Nick was a little guy and about how well he could pitch. His eyes would light up and his chest would go out. He was so proud to be his dad. I had the pleasure of dealing with Phil these last few years at the Henryetta Homeland; in my 28 years of being a Sales Rep for Frito Lay he was the best man I have ever dealt with. The last 2 years we had many conversations about our mutual fandom of the Cubs and that more than anything is what i will miss about Phil. My deepest sympathies to the Goza family.
