As his son-in-law, I'm blessed to be a part of his family. He is now with my beloved wife April who passed 6 years ago. He was like a natural dad to me, always good to me, blessed me in many ways, and respected me as a man. He loved the Lord and wasn't ashamed to share Him wherever he went. Kevin Campbell
Phil will always be remembered, not only for his smiling face, but for his gentleness, yet strong and devoted to our Lord. Oh my just saw that Phil has left for Heaven Oh he beat me there !!! Oh Heaven is richer and earth poorer!! Have not seem him for years but have some great memories of him! and his wonderful family !!! What a blessing he was to Pentecostal Tabernacle in Elmira N.Y. Praying for his family !! Love you all !!! Just remember how beautiful Heaven must be>!! Trust Bro. John was there to show him around cuz he has been there a long time!!

I still often think of Phil's presence in the hallways and behind-the-scene spaces where we both worked together at the ORU Mabee Center. Phil had some very large shoes to fill as our utility mechanic, coming in after George retired, but he took on the challenges and tasks like a trooper and kept some of our antique equipment running like clockwork around here.Phil could always be counted upon to jump right in anywhere an extra hand was required, whether or not it was his specific task, he never minded helping out someone else.I'm sorry to have lost track of his whereabouts a number of years ago, but still think of him today in my daily meanderings through the Mabee Center. He is missed, I'm sure, by those close to him.God bless his family and those who loved and knew him, and I cherish my memories of him as well.Sincerely, Vick Barker
Honey, now you get to see the other side of those beautiful sunrises and sunsets you loved so much.
