Phuong Duy Pham's Obituary
Phuong Duy Pham
July 3, 1955 — September 25, 2025
Phuong Pham was called home to Heaven at 11:28 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 70, after battling cancer.
Phuong was born on July 3, 1955, in Bien Hoa, Vietnam, to Vien Pham and Cui Do. He grew up in a large and loving family as the sixth child, with siblings Xuyen Pham, Phon Pham, Hai Pham, Pho Pham, Phon Pham, Phien Pham, Phuc Pham, and Hung Pham.
On August 21, 1980, he married Lien Do. They were married for 45 years and together raised one son, Duy Nhat, and three daughters, Ngoc An, Ngoc Ánh, and Ngoc Anh (Nikkie).
Phuong who left this world peacefully surrounded by family and love.
He was a man of boundless kindness and generosity, Phuong lived his life with an open heart and an ever-present smile. His joy was most evident when he was surrounded by his eight grandchildren—his greatest treasures. Whether he was chasing their little feet through the backyard, sneaking them treats, or indulging them with playful laughter, he found pure happiness in spoiling them and making every moment special. His unconditional love was felt in every hug, every word of encouragement, and every moment he gave so freely.
He was always there for his children, no matter the hour — steady, dependable, and just a phone call away. Whether it was a broken-down car on the side of the road at 2am or a house without air conditioning in the middle of summer, he never hesitated to show up. He was their quiet hero, their constant, the one they could always count on to come to the rescue with open arms and a heart full of love.
His favorite pastimes were gardening and carpentry. He also loved painting and had exceptional skills in lacquer work. In addition, he enjoyed singing karaoke and was blessed with a beautiful voice.
A natural fixer at heart, Phuong had a special talent for bringing things back to life—whether it was a broken piece of furniture, a forgotten tool, or the spirits of those around him. He poured that same passion into helping others, particularly within the Vietnamese community. Always ready with a helping hand, he touched countless lives through quiet acts of service, wisdom, and compassion. He never sought recognition, only the joy of giving.
His legacy is one of love, humility, and unwavering devotion—to his family, his community, and the values he held dear. He leaves behind not only the memories of his laughter and kindness but also the example of a life beautifully lived and generously given.
Phuong is survived by:
• His son, Nhat Pham (Honna), and his children, Tan and Mai Lien
• His daughter, An Pham (Binh Le), and her children, Sydney, Dylan, and Max
• His daughter, Anh Pham (Jonathan), and her children, Lexi and Jax
• His daughter, Nikkie Pham (Eugene), and her child, Audrey.
