Phyllis "Granny" Clift's Obituary
Phyllis “Granny” Clift was born on May 4, 1930 in Bogard, Missouri and passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 10, 2017.Phyllis was an avid member of First United Methodist Church of Broken Arrow. She was a talented cook, loved to bake, and often kept busy with crossword puzzles and sewing. Phyllis adored spending time with her family, and enjoyed watching and attending her grandkids’s (and great grandkids!) many activities and events.Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, C.H. “Red” Clift; parents Ira Charles and Nadine Shirley; brothers James K., Kenneth, and Billy Wayne Shirley; sisters Juanita Buckbee, Faye Genrich, and Mary Shirley; and great grandson Nathaniel Len Stephens. She is survived by son James Clift of Tulsa; daughter Joyce and husband Mike Kessler of Tulsa; daughters Carolyn Cupples and Melissa Clift of Tulsa; grandchildren Kimberly and Erich Stephens, and Bryan and Courtney Kessler of Tulsa; great grandchildren Gordon and Lydia Stephens, and Madelynn and Raegan Kessler of Tulsa; sisters Charldine Safely of Carrollton, Missouri, Patricia Maycock Waverly of Missouri, and Barbara Litterill Chilochothe of Missouri; and numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.She will remain forever in our hearts.Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 13, at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 5 pm – 8 pm. Funeral Services are scheduled at the Floral Haven Chapel for Friday, April 14, at 10 am.
