Phyllis Ann Copeland's Obituary
“Phyllis Ann Copeland was born July 7th 1941 and passed away, reaching her reward in Jesus on June 26th 2014.She was very funny and witty and always wanted to laugh and tease with most everyone she came into contact. With her husband as the rock, Phyllis was the centerpiece in our family and will be forever missed. She was proceeded in death by her parents Comple Carey and Martha Carey. She is survived by her precious loving husband Boyd Copeland Jr., and her 4 babies who are daughter Tamara Copeland and companion Ron Blevins, son Gregory “Von” Copeland, daughter Stacey Copeland-Short and husband, Bobby Short, and son Allen Copeland. She is also survived by her one and only darling grandson, Eric Copeland, “Erikaah”, whom she adored, and brothers and sisters: Peggy, Sandra, Eddie and Rocky and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank everyone at the Davita dialysis centers in Tahlequah and Broken Arrow Oklahoma for helping with Phyllis in her time of need and also would like to thank her son Allen for taking good care of his mother for many years. We feel that her time with us was too short, but we probably wouldn’t have been blessed as long as we were without his efforts. Until we meet again, we love you, “mom”.The Family will be memorializing Phyllis’s life in a private ceremony at Floral Haven – 6500 S 129th E Ave, Tulsa, OK – on July 1st at 12:30pm. Friends of the family are encouraged to leave an online message for the family.”
