Phyllis B. Knott's Obituary
Phyllis Knott, 90, of Tulsa, died on March 23, 2014. She was born in Dover, New Jersey on June 15, 1923, the daughter of John and Edna Brennan. On July 23, 1945, she married William J. Knott on Governor’s Island in New York City. Phyllis enjoyed playing golf, painting, gardening, and spending time with her daughters, with whom she was very close. She was a wonderful photographer who truly loved taking photographs. Her work as a photographer helped capture special moments for many people. Phyllis is survived by three daughters, Linda K. Tucker, and her husband, George, of Placido, Florida, Cynthia Knott, of Savannah, Georgia, and Betsy Figgis, and her husband, John, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, four grandchildren, Tanda Tucker, Kori Edwards, Teale Figgis, and Holly Barrett, two great-grandchildren, Tucker and M.J. Edwards, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Ellen Knott, grandsons, Adam and Eric Thomas, and sister, Elaine. The family will be holding a memorial service in New Jersey at a later date.
