Phyllis Lorraine Lima's Obituary
PHYLLIS L. LIMA, 82 Phyllis L. Lima was born on April 11, 1928 to her parents Frank and Sybil White of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Phyllis was one of ten children. She is survived by seven of her siblings, and her son Manuel Lima. Mrs. Lima passed away on February 3, 2011, in Broken Arrow, OK. Phyllis lived most of her life in Massachusetts until September 2005, when she relocated to Oklahoma to live close to her only child Manuel, and his wife Karla Lima and their children and grandchildren. Mom enjoyed playing cards, bingo, building puzzles, and crocheting. Later in life she enjoyed watching golf, she was a big Tiger Woods fan. After moving to Oklahoma mom made sure everyone knew she was from Attleboro, MA, which was a treat for many because she had a wonderful northeast accent. Phyllis had a large collection of elephants from around the world. Her collection included carved wood, cut glass, resin based, poured candle wax, and fine stone. Her prized elephant is a twelve-inch solid brass gift from Korea that Manuel purchased while serving in the military there. Manny and Karla made sure mom had fresh flowers and pictures of the family. Mom will be missed, but only for a short time until we are reunited in heaven with our Lord, Jesus! Mrs. Phyllis Lima will be laid to rest with her family at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow, OK. Services will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday February 15,2011 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
