Preston Kane Medlin's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Senior Airman Preston Medlin, who left this world far too soon on June 30, 2025, while serving on active duty in the United States Air Force in Minot, North Dakota. He was 23 years old.
Preston was born on January 28, 2002, to Parents Joyce Annette Medlin and Joseph Albert Medlin, who survive him. He is also survived by his loving siblings: Jessi Black, Lincoln Medlin, Jackson Medlin, Cole Black, and Taylor Zirger.
Preston was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother Connie Medlin, surviving grandparents Sharon Roper, Richard and Mary Medlin, and Marvin and Connie Reynolds. We take comfort in the belief that he is now reunited with those who passed before and embraced in their love and the arms of the angels.
Preston was a devoted airman, a loyal friend, and a bright light to all who knew him. Though his time on earth was short, his impact was profound. He lived with courage, honor, and a genuine kindness that touched the lives of many. Whether through his service, his laughter, or his unwavering support to those he cared about, Preston brought warmth and strength to every space he entered.
He leaves behind a large and loving family, countless friends, and fellow servicemembers who mourn his loss deeply. His legacy will live on through the love he gave and the lives he changed.
We honor Preston’s service, cherish his memory, and carry him in our hearts always. May he rest in eternal peace.
