Preston was such an amazing guy, i didnt know him well but the one night we hung out at a friends house, i didnt have a ride back home, and i remember us just talking the whole ride back to base i dont remember what we talked about but it was definitely nerd talk lol, he was a funny guy i still cant believe hes gone, my condolences to his family we all miss him.
Preston was an incredibly driven and inspiring young man, and it was a privilege to have known and serve alongside him in Aviano. Whether it was PT, going out for a run, or attending boxing classes after work, he had a way of lifting everyone around him, pushing to give our all, just as he always did. He had unmatched heart and grit and I admired him a lot.
R.I.P. Preston. Your strength, spirit, and determination will always be carried by your fellow Airmen.
I was stationed at Eglin alongside Preston during his tenure there. He was always striving to better himself and experience new things. Anytime we did anything physically challenging, whether it was PT, running, or recreational boxing (as shown below), Preston did his absolute best and motivated everyone around him. It was a privilege to have known and served alongside him, he will be missed dearly. Thank you for all of the sparring and wrestling tips brother, R.I.P.

Thank you allowing us the pleasure to work with Senior Airman Medlin. Preston arrived to Aviano Air Base, Italy, fresh out of technical training in the aftermath of COVID. Despite the challenges of joining and learning during a really tough time, his positive attitude persisted and he quickly integrated with the team. Preston learned and made our shop better, deployed and went on temporary duty numerous times, and overall was a joy to work along side.
I know his teammates from our overseas tour together are also mourning his loss. Please accept our humblest appreciation for the time we were able to spend with him, and for supporting his journey. You have our condolences from across the Air Force Vehicle Management world.

I remember hearing about Preston’s adventures from his mom through the years as I sat in her shop. Lots of stories of love and family fun through the years. He was a special young man. God bless you.
