Priscilla Wood's Obituary
Priscilla Wood, 96 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, August 7, 2020 in Broken Arrow. She was born September 13, 1923 in Cowlington, Oklahoma to her parents, Claude W. Taylor and Mallie Holeman Taylor. She married the love of her life, John Wood and they shared in over 78 wonderful years before his passing in June of this year.
Priscilla was a homemaker and also became certified by Haskell County School Board to teach school during WWII.
Priscilla is survived by her six children, David Wood and his wife Doresa of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Edward Wood and his wife Barbara of Chouteau, Oklahoma, Tommy Wood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jo Ellen Ward of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jackie Nicolas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Carol Holden and her husband Steve of Fair Grove, Missouri; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mallie Taylor; her husband John Wood; three siblings; and one son, Philip Wood.
Visitation will be held from 3-7 PM on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hermon Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
