Ralph Eugene Dorris' Obituary
Ralph Eugene Dorris was born June 18, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and passed away March 27, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ralph was the oldest of three children born to Jack and May Dorris. Ralph was raised in Tulsa and attended and graduated Central High School. After high school he joined the military and proudly served his Country in the Air Force. After his time served he began his career as a Firefighter in Tulsa. Those who were closest to Ralph would say he was a workaholic. He was passionate about work and loved staying busy. When. Ralph wasn’t working her enjoyed spending time with his family; he especially loved going to the lake and water skiing. He enjoyed playing and watching softball and baseball. And he was a huge OU fan. Ralph was a great man and he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Ralph is survived by his wife Juanita Faye Dorris; daughter Connie Hurd and her husband Jim; daughter Marilyn Lewis and her husband David; grandchildren Ashley Giddens and her husband Jon, Brandon Hurd and his wife Sarah; great-grandchildren Julian Hurd and Gage Hurd; and Stella and Sky his beloved dogs along with numerous other family members and friends. Ralph is preceded in passing by his parents Jack and May Dorris; brother Charlie Dorris and his sister Lorene Inbody.There will be a visitation Thursday, April, 2, 2015 from 4-7p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Funeral Service will be Friday, April 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
