Ralph Adriean Sigler Sr.'s Obituary
Ralph Adriean Sigler, Sr., aged 90, departed this life on March 19, 2024, in Gunter, Texas. Ralph was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to the late Cecil and Laura Sigler on December 29, 1933.
Ralph's journey was marked by love, service, and craftsmanship. He shared 44 beautiful years of marriage with Mary Sigler until her passing, after which he found love again with Christine, spending 25 cherished years together.
A man of many talents, Ralph had a passion for woodworking and found joy in crafting birdhouses and whirlybirds. His creations stand as a testament to his creativity and dedication. Ralph's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, earning him a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
Ralph proudly served his country as a Marine and fought bravely in the Korean War. His commitment to duty and valor was unwavering, leaving a legacy of honor and courage.
In 2011, Ralph concluded a successful 30-year career at Oklahoma Custom Canvas, where he served as a dedicated sales manager. His professionalism and dedication were admired by colleagues and customers alike.
In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his brother James “Jim” Sigler, sister Kathryn McGuire, and son Ralph Sigler Jr. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife Christine, son Randy Sigler and wife Janet of Skiatook; son Robert Sigler of Tulsa; stepdaughter Julie Byassee of Sapulpa; granddaughter Leslie Derx and husband Hardy of Burleson, TX, granddaughter Rachelle Patterson and husband Matthew of Greenville, SC; granddaughter Melissa Smith and husband Darin of Gunter, TX; granddaughter Nicole Sigler of Tulsa: grandson Robby Henson; grandson Riley Cash Byassee of Sapulpa. Four great-grandchildren Megan Thonsgard, Taylor Prewit, Aubrey Wendt and Harper Patterson. Three great great-grandchildren Abel Prewit, Tynslee Prewit, Rylie Thonsgard and many additional extended family members and dear friends.
While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived and the memories that will forever remain in our hearts. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, OK on Friday, March 29, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service in honor of Ralph will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 3:00PM at Floral Haven’s Chapel located at 6500 S 129th E Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012. There will be an interment to follow at Floral Havens memorial gardens.
