Ralph Darrell Terhune's Obituary
Ralph D. Terhune, 88, passed away May 9, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Ralph was born September 18, 1928 in Mound Valley, Kansas, the son of Hugh and Mary (Morain) Terhune. Following his graduation from high school in Parsons, Kansas, he served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Sea Cat submarine. He earned his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma A&M College. During his career as a mechanical engineer, he specialized in the filtration industry. He is survived by Dorothy Terhune, his wife of 59 years; their two sons, Tim of Tulsa and Jim and his wife, Mary, of Plano, Texas; six grandchildren, Erica, Tricia, Laura, Megan, Sarah and David; brother Richard and his wife Donna of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid golfer for many years and was a life-long St. Louis Cardinal fan. Celebration services will be 12:30 PM, Friday, June 30th, . In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice will be appreciated.
