Ramon Celestino Millan's Obituary
Ramon Celestino Millan, Devoted family man and friend, passed away Sunday, June 5th at St. Francis hospital with his family by his side. Ramon was born August 9th, 1965 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Julia and Celestino Millan. Ramon was also known as Ray to many friends and co-workers, but always referred to as Roman by his parents and siblings growing up as that is what his mother actually intended to name him, but his name was misspelled on his birth certificate. Ramon and his family moved from Mexico to Texas and eventually to Tulsa, Oklahoma while he was growing up. Starting at a very young age it was evident that Ramon was going to be a hard- worker. He was always finding random jobs to help earn money for the family. Over the years his dedication to his work grew stronger and if he wasn’t spending time with his family, he was most certainly working. He did the majority of his work on heating and air units, but there wasn’t anything that Ramon couldn’t fix! Ramon was always ready to help someone out in need. So much of the work he did, he did without any payment in return. Throughout the years that he worked as an apartment maintenance man, there wasn’t a person around on the property that didn’t know him and love him. Growing up with 7 siblings might have been hard for many people but for him and his brothers and sisters they wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. They were protective over each other and each one had their own unique bond with Ramon. In 1991 Ramon married Kari and they welcomed their first child, Gabriella. They went on to have two more children, Nicholas and Tyler, and were married for 12 years. In January of this year, Ramon welcomed the light of his world, his first grandchild, Rowdy Celestino Randolph. Ramon is survived by his father, Celestino Millan, children Gabriella Randolph, Nicholas Millan, Tyler Millan and Son- in- law, Levi Randolph and Grandson, Rowdy Randolph, His former wife and mother of his children Kari Millan. Also surviving are siblings and in laws: Lupe Millan, Maria and Jorge Salas, Julie and Jaime Lopez, Rosa and Gustavo Soto, Aurelia and Felipe Gomez, and Jesse and Tracy Millan. Ramon is survived by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
