Ramon Allen Vande Bogart's Obituary
Ramon Allen Vande Bogart, a lover of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, was born on March 30, 1932 and passed on April 4, 2019. He was born to John and Mabel VandeBogart in Norwich, New York and lived in Smyrna, New York.Ramon graduated from Sherburne High School in 1950, and later graduated from Morrisville Agriculture and Technical Institute division of State University of New York in 1952. He came to work for American Airlines starting June 16, 1952. He served in the Air Force from 1954 – 1956. He later returned to American Airlines and worked as a mechanic in the mechanic and inspector in the instrument gyro shop. He retired on March 31, 1994.Ramon married Joan Winters on March 25, 1956 at First Christian Church in Reno, Nevada. They joined First United Methodist in 1952 and was a member of the Fellowship Class, Missions Council, and Administrative Board.He is survived by his wife Joan Vande Bogart; daughter Susan Quilitzsch; son John and wife Rebecca Vande Bogart; granchildren Sarah, Rachel, and Cameron Vande Bogart; Ian and Gracie Quilitzsch; and Katie and husband Evan Brazille; great grandchildren Jackson and Levi Brazille; and brother Jean and wife Donna Vande Bogart. Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday, April 8 from 5 pm – 7 pm.Services will take place at 11 am on Tuesday, April 9 at First United Methodist Church on 10th and Boulder in Tulsa, Oklahoma.In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Seasons Hospice @ http://seasonshospice.com/ orFirst United Methodist Church Providence Fund @ https://www.fumctulsa.org/give
