Ramona "Mona" Spurlock's Obituary
Ramona “Mona” Spurlock, 71, of Broken Arrow, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born on December 6, 1942, in Santa Rosa, California, the daughter of Sylvester and Pauline Solomon. On May 28, 1965, she married Jerry Spurlock, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They had two sons, followed by six grandchildren, and a great-grandson, all of whom she adored and dedicated her life to. She was affectionately known as “Cookie” to those who know and love her. Mona is survived by Jerry, her loving husband of 48 years, sons, Todd Spurlock, and his wife, Aungela, Tony Spurlock, and his wife, Stephanie, all of Broken Arrow, six grandchildren, Mitchell, Declan, Conlin, Gracie, Keegan, and Tripp Spurlock, great grandson, Matthew Spurlock, sister, Cathy Ballestros, and her husband, Richard, of Copperas Cove, Texas, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Catholic Charities, 2450 N. Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74115.
