In Loving Memory of Randall Roy Dare
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randall Roy Dare, who peacefully passed away at the age of 73 in his Berryhill home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 10, 2023. Known for his kindness and love for fishing, Randall, lovingly known as “Randy”, was a cherished family member whose warmth and humor touched the lives of many. Though deeply missed, his memory will forever reside in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known and loved him. May Randy rest in eternal peace.
Randy was born on September 13, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, MO, to parents Robert (Red) Dare and Nellie (Davis) Dare. He was united in marriage with Susan (Pearson) Dare on November 3, 1968, in Wood River, Illinois. He dedicated 43 years of his life to Energy Exchanger as a Maintenance Manager. Randy found joy in fishing, being in the great outdoors, and garage selling adventures with his beloved wife.
Randy is preceded in death by his father Robert Dare, mother Nellie Dare, and sister Diane Wolverton. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Susan Dare, his daughter Tina and husband Eric Magee of Tulsa, son David and Angie Dare of Bixby, brothers Ryland and Dodie Dare of Mt. Olive, Arkansas, Bobby and Karen Dare of Wood River, Illinois, Matt and Sandy Dare of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Andy and Diane Dare of Rosie Clare, Illinois. Randy is also remembered by his grandchildren Devon and Michele Magee of Jenks, Ashley and Levi Branson of Tonkawa, Dylan Magee of Tulsa, Brittany and Corey Mondier of Sapulpa, and many cherished great-grandchildren.
A memorial service to honor the life of Randy will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, located at 6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
Anyone wishing to send flowers may do so by ordering through our website or by calling Floral Designs by Floral Haven at (918) 459-1525. Any other florists may deliver flowers directly to Floral Haven Funeral Home by 12:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023, in order for them to be set out and properly displayed for Randy’s services.
A reception will be held once the chapel service concludes from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM at Floral Haven’s Family Center. Randy’s family would like to warmly extend an invitation to anyone wishing to attend the reception in order to continue fellowship and sharing of memories. The Floral Haven Family Center is also located at Floral Havel Funeral Home, 6420 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012.
