Randall F Jenks' Obituary
Jenks – Randall Frederick Jenks of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma unexpectedly died on Monday, October 20, 2003. He was born in Norwood, MA on September 11, 1947 to William (deceased) and Dolores Jenks. Randall was a graduate of Bulkeley High School in Hartford, CT. He was proud to be the first male graduate of Hartford Hospital School of Nursing. Later he graduated as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from Mercy/Providence School of Anesthesia in Springfield, MA. He was also a proud graduate from the New England School of Broadcasting. He worked as a CRNA for nearly 20 years at Hartford Hospital before moving to Broken Arrow, OK with his family in 1993. Most recently he worked as a CRNA for Anesthesia Associates, Inc. at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. He was a loyal and patriotic American who served his beloved Country in the Vietnam War as a First Lieutenant and later became a Captain in the Army Reserves.He is survived by a host of beloved family members and friends that have been blessed to know him and be influenced by his strong work ethic, integrity and sense of humor. Randall enjoyed camping, steam engines, music and his three dogs. . Visitation hours at Floral Haven will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family members being present from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, 2003. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2003 at Floral Haven, 6500 S. 129th East Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK, 252-2518Survived By: loving and devoted wife Catherine (Magee) Jenks of Broken Arrow, OK; son Matthew Jenks of Scottsdale, AZ; daughter Vallerie Jenks of Tulsa, OK; mother Lory (Anthony) Jenks of Hartford, CT; sisters Allison (Jenks) Skibba of Milwaukee, WI and Susan (Jenks) Snyder of West Hartford, CT; and brother Jeffrey Jenks of Portland, ME.
