Randall Martin SwainBorn July 26, 1981, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City to Mary and Richard Swain.Died February 11, 2013, in the Arkansas River, Tulsa Oklahoma. Preceded in death by father Richard Swain, grandparents Frank and Ruth Swain, grandfather G. E. Gunnells, sister, Valerie Swain, and brother, Robert Swain.He is survived by his mother, Mary Gunnells Swain, brothers, Robert Swain and wife Angela, of Sand Springs, Russell and Tyler Swain of Tulsa, Ricky and Bradley Swain of Lawton; sisters Jennifer, Sarah, and Heather Swain of Tulsa. Maternal Grandmother, Mary Ruth Gunnells, of Claremore.Numerous Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.Randall attended Oologah-Talala Public Schools and Tulsa Union Public Schools, Graduated 2005 from Talking Leaves Job Corps Center with an apprentice license in Electrical Wiring, where he received an award for Outstanding GED Graduate having received the highest GED test scores on school records at that time.Randall was a member of Community Christian Church, DOC, and was baptized when he was 10 years old. At age 14, he was diagnosed with cancer and fought a lengthy battle culminating with a successful bone marrow transplant in October of 1996.He was an avid gaming fan, and was often among the first to purchase new releases of such games as Oblivion, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and many more. He bought many lottery tickets over the years, always promising to provide first for his brothers and sisters by getting each of them homes, cars, an educations so that they could start life on a firm foundation. And he often hoped to one day own his own comic book shop. He was working on a science fiction novel at the time of his death.
