I always enjoyed my time with Uncle Joe as I always called him. Mother (Beth) told stories of her Brother and I always thought he sounded like the kind of guy you would want to be around. He was! I learned about his being a neat freak the summer he let me stay with him in Tulsa while attending a summer training program. He gave me a tour of his home and then detailed instructions on how to keep everything clean. He was generous having others at his lake cabin and I remember good times together. You could see that Cova was the love of his life by the way he looked at her. What a great coulple! Enjoy your promotion Joe, we will miss you here.

My Uncle Joe was a funny man and shared many stories about my dad (his older brother) and my grandma. Uncle Joe recently started attending our Mize Family dinners that we have every three months in fact he was coming to the next one feb 27th. But now I will be attending his funeral. I am so grateful for the time spent together the past year. You will be missed. I know you are reunited with your siblings. Give my dad the biggest hug for me
Uncle Joe was a wonderful man and good husband and father. Always have good memories of his positive demeanor full of laughter and at times boisterous behavior. Joe will be missed. God Bless you and will see you in Heaven, Randy Joe.
