Randy Allen Watteau's Obituary
Randy Allen Watteau, 58, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on October 27, 2011 at his home. Randy was born August 6, 1953 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Mary Hedrick and George Watteau. He graduated from Henryetta High School in 1971, and attended the University of Tulsa where he graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems. On June 6, 1975 he and Carol Clemons were married in Red Fork, Oklahoma Watteau worked with Hilti as a project manager for 13 years. He also did private consulting for the remainder of his working life which took him to many locations around the world installing large scale manufacturing systems. For the past 25 years the Watteaus worked in many aspects of the horse community, including showing, breeding and racing. He was a long-time member of the Coweta Roundup Club, the American Quarter Horse Association and the American Paint Horse Association. He also logged many hours in the AQHA Trail Riding program. Watteau is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; one son, Ian Watteau and his wife, Amanda of Bixby; one granddaughter, Charlotte Watteau of Bixby; his mother, Mary Hedrick of Henryetta; four step-siblings and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, George Watteau; his step-father, Emmett Hedrick and one step-sister.
