Ray O. McLain's Obituary
Ray McLain, age 84, passed from this life on October 21, 2014. Ray was born March 7, 1930 to Frank R. and Eunice (Walton) McLain in Camdon, Arkansas.Ray married the love of his life, Betty Ann Grice, on September 2, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After graduating from Central High School, Ray joined The United States Air Force in 1947; he received an honorable discharged in 1951. After 32 years of service with the American Airlines, Ray retired and moved to Grand Lake with Betty. After a few years, they moved back to Tulsa.Ray will be dearly missed by his loving wife Betty, and by special friends Glenn, Lois, and Boolie Zellner. He is preceded in death by his parents.Betty sends her thanks to Grace Hospice’ s Monica for all her support. She would not have made it without all her encouragement and assistance. Also thanks to Dr. Gebetsburger and Dr Lohrey.A celebration of life memorial will be held, Tuesday, October 28, 2014, 10:00 am in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.A reception will immediately follow the memorial and committal service, at the Floral Haven Family Service Center.
