Funeral services for Raymond Elliott, “Raydog”, 47, of Broken Arrow, will be at 3 pm Friday at Floral Haven Chapel with Ricky High, pastor, officiating. Raymond passed away and went to be with his mother on Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born in Lawton, OK to Richard and Chom Sun Elliott also from Lawton, OK. He was raised and attended school in Lawton. He graduated from Cameron University with a business degree and from the University of Phoenix with a Master’s Degree in E-commerce. He was married to Melissa J. Elliott from Texarkana, TX on April 30, 1994 in Lawton, OK. They would have celebrated 20-years of marriage. Raymond was a huge sports fan of golf, basketball, and football but loved his OU Sooners most of all. His passions in life included his dog Jazz, being a beer connoisseur, and never knowing a stranger. Raymond was the best husband, brother, “cuz” and friend to all. Survivors include his wife and fur baby Jazz; father: Richard G. Elliott; brother and sister-in-law: Steven J. and Ila J. Elliott; cousin “sister”: Kathy S. and husband Todd O’Neal; cousins: Jenny K. Chong and friend Ross Allen; Willie Chong; Andrianne Elliott, Mr. & Mrs Mark Elliott: Mr. and Mrs. Joel Elliott and Kyle Elliott. Aunt: Soon Clingenpeel; uncle and wife: Tong and Myung Cha Chong; Uncle and Arthur and Andrea Elliott of West Farmington, OH; Aunt and husband Denny and Marty McCoy of Huntersville, NC niece: Keelyn and husband AJ Bigham and son Carter; nephew: Devin Elliott; and other family residing in South Korea. He was preceeded in death by his mom Chom Sun Elliott. Friends may visit from 10am to 7pm Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
