Ray Strother, age 85, a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raymond Lee Strother was born born November 19, 1939, to Henry William and Gertie Florence (Lee) Strother in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
Ray will be dearly missed by his children: Stephani Britton (Phillip) and Brian Strother (Cyndi); grandchildren: Amber Summersalls(Chad), Keia Torres(Jon), EJ Britton(Samantha),Caleb Britton(Jessica), Colton Strother(Lindsey), Jake Strother(Sarah), Jade Strother, and Mikalyn Strother; great-grandchildren: Bianca, Mya, Avalyn, Willow, Roman, Emi Jo, Leo, Ky, Gage, Daven, Mikayle, and Zechariah; nieces and nephews: Michelle, Holli, Staci, Jana, Lisa, Lori, Jeff, and Jamie; sister-in-law: Judy Strother.
Ray is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Gertie Strother; his loving wife of 66 1/2 years: Glenda Strother; brother Doyle Strother; brother-in-law Jim Hill and sister-in-law Sue Hill.
Memorial donations can be made in Ray's honor to "World Baseball Outreach".
Visitation will be held 2:00 PM ~ 4:00 PM, Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, March 03, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow.
