The first timeI had dinner at my new in laws house was a few days after Dennis and I got married. I have a weird food fetish. I absolutely hate for my food to touch. So back then I would only put one thing at a time on my plate. I was sitting next to Leon and he saw my plate. He looked at me and then looked at Dennis and told him to fix me a plate. He thought I was just being shy. That was the first time I had met him and that memory has made me smile for forty years. RIP DAD I love you and I definitely will miss you!
What a blessing getting to know him better and helping him in his last few years of life! He was a proud man& so grateful for everything I did for him!! He made me appreciate being to help him& made me think I was such a great daughter!! So thankful for his love and gratefulness!!!
Uncle Leon was such a wonderful man with a beautiful soul. I feel blessed to be his great niece. My heart and prayers go out to all of his children and the rest of our family. We now have another beautiful guardian angel. I love you all
