Raymond Yi-mo Liu's Obituary
Raymond Yi-mo Liu was born January 5, 1943 in China and passed away March 12, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Raymond was an architect, builder, and project manager. When he wasn’t working, he loved to travel, build, and remodel things. He enjoyed researching his genealogy, music, art and playing the violin. He also had a keen eye for design. Raymond enjoyed food and wine and most of all developing meaningful connections with people. He never let language be a barrier, and he often left a lasting impression with anyone he met. He was a truly great man, living by what he called the “Liu Family Motto” in his memoir: Honor, Integrity, Persistence, Kindness, and Generosity. While there are many wonderful ways Raymond could be described, we feel his own way does it best. Raymond is survived by his spouse, Helen Liu; son, William Liu and his wife Cathy; daughter, Vernique Kinder and her husband Ralph; daughter Cynthea Liu; grandchildren, Jackson and Samantha Liu, Cole Kinder, Clara Schoenhals; his sister, Amy Jasinski, brother, David Liu, sister, Helen Ott, and sister,Ruth Pan.
