Rebecca Ann Dyer's Obituary
Rebecca “Becky” Ann Dyer was born August 8, 1947 to Frank and Wanda Kirkpatrick. Becky graduated from Blackwell High School and followed her brother, Bill, to Northern Oklahoma College and further to Oklahoma State University. After college, Becky spent her time working, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Becky later met her husband, Gary, while working for ConocoPhillips. Becky was predeceased by Gary who passed in 2013. Becky and Gary were long-time residents of Broken Arrow. Becky spent the majority of her marriage working diligently as a homemaker and appreciated everything surrounding the care and management of her family. Becky was active in her neighborhood and community, and loved by all. Becky is best known by her family and friends as “Nana”; a role she embraced like none other. Becky spent the last sixteen years of her life being deeply committed to her grandchildren, Lilly, Olivia, Bryan and Julia. Becky is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Pollard; sons-in-law, Danny Pollard and Chad Dechow; her grandchildren, Julia Dyer and Lilly, Olivia and Bryan Dechow; her brother, sister-in-law, and nephews, Bill, Sheila, Scott and Ryan Kirkpatrick of Ponca City. Funeral arrangements are with Floral Haven Funeral Home and a closed service will be held in Braman, Oklahoma.
