I met your father about 5 years ago when I began attending the summer concert series at Utica Square. I happened to pick a spot next to the tree that was your father's regular spot. Being the friendly extrovert that he was, he introduced himself and I became part of his circle of concert friends. It wasn't until the following year in our conversation about church we discovered that your parents not only attended the same church my mother and stepfather had attended. but they were in the same Sunday school class together! Every year when the the concert series rolled around I would look forward to seeing and talking with your father and introducing my friends to him. This year when I didn't see him I was afraid something may have happened, but I kept hoping he would appear once the terrible heatwave abated. Of couse the heat did not, and the concerts ended the last weekend of August for the season. He was a truly delightful person and I will miss his joyful countenance and lively conversation. Reggie was certainly blessed by God and his friends and family were especially blessed with his presence in their lives. I know firsthand that no matter how old our parents are when they die, we are never ready to lose them. God bless you all. Cathy
