Renate Gertrud Beecher's Obituary
My mom Renate Gertrud Pietsch was born October 28, 1935 in Breslau Germany to parents Walter and Hildegard. She grew up with brother Klaus and sister Brigette. Mom met my dad William Rene Beecher who was stationed in the US Army in Schweinfurt, Germany in 1959 thru her sister who was dating Dave McLean who was stationed with dad. Mom and dad fell in love and married July, 16, 1960. Aunt Brigette and uncle Dave married shortly after. I was born February 6, 1961 in Schweinfurt, Germany. We moved to dads hometown Leviltown, PA in 1963. They bought a house and my brother Dale William Beecher was born October 17, 1966. My baby brother Darren Rene Beecher was born July 16, 1968 on my grandpa’s birthday and mom and dad’s 8th Wedding Anniversary. We moved to Bixby, OK in 1973 and became Okies. All of us Beecher kids went on to gradate from Bixby H.S. Mom’s first beautiful grandson Brandon Michael Wright was born June 3, 1982. She was not blessed until 28 years later with her 2nd grandson Joseph Beecher born August 8, 2010. My precious dad died the following month Sept. 11, 2010. Her 3rd and last beautiful grandson Jensen Beecher was born December 18, 2012.Mom had a good life until she had to have emergency open heart surgery on March 2, 2012. She had many health issues to follow and her body finally gave up on June 16, 2017. My mom was 81 years old. I had the best mom ever. ~ Bonnie Harper
